Resources for AB GIRLS Leaders
G.I.R.L.S. Leadership 101: Leadership Training for Ministry with Girls will help leaders of girls' ministries learn how girls develop through childhood and teenage years. Leaders will learn how to meaningfully interact with girls, and how family and community can be components of the girls' ministry.
"Leadership 101" is the first CD available in the G.I.R.L.S. resource series. The G.I.R.L.S. curriculum will help girls develop in their relationship with God through Jesus Christ, grow in their relationships with authentic, caring adults and with one another.
G.I.R.L.S. Volume 1 "Wholeness" will help girls explore important issues of body, mind and spirit. They will learn about healthy living, explore methods for dealing with sometimes frightening emotions, and have a wealth of opportunities to grow in their relationships with Christ.
12 sessions for each of three age levels: grades 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12; 36 sessions in all. You may "mix-and-match" activities from the different age-level sessions to best fit your own group. In addition, each session has several "enhancements," or suggestions for ways to continue to explore the session topic in more depth.
